ABOUT US
OUR WORK

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

We are instructors in the Department of Electrical Engineering at San Jose State University.  Some of the courses (and associated labs) we teach are Circuit Analysis, Network Analysis, Linear Systems, Electronic Circuit Design, Integrated Circuits, Physical Electronics.  With our association with MIT within the edX program we try to combine both worlds: online education (video lectures) with in-class instructor-student interaction.

The Dept. of Electrical Engineering at San Jose State University is a leading provider of engineering talent to Silicon Valley's high-tech industry. Our curriculum is designed to prepare our graduates for the dynamic global society. This website should facilitate access to various teaching tools used in some of our classes: tutorials, practice quizzes, real quizzes and remote lab experiments.

How do kids learn in this digital age?  Go to any Apple- or Windows-Store.  You will see pre-school-kids playing with iPads, fascinated by interactive e-books, interacting with games, challenged by problems appropriate to their age and comprehension.  We try to bring the same excitement to the study of devices or circuits on a college level, where complicated phenomena and circuit responses may be visualized.
